This descriptive study determined the level of attitudes of 67 regular classroom teachers in Iloilo Central Elementary School (ICES) in the city of Iloilo during the school year 2015 – 2016. The respondents were selected using the Slovin’s formula to find out the sample of a population of 80 and classified according to age, sex, and years in service. Data were gathered utilizing a researcher-made questionnaire based from Gagné and Nadeau’s (1991) Opinions about the gifted and their education. Mean was utilized for the independent samples. Result showed that the attitudes of regular classroom teacher was “very positive” towards children who are potentially gifted when taken as a whole. Furthermore, there were no significant differences in the levels of attitude of regular classroom teachers in terms of age, sex, and years in service. Regular teachers in ICES are encouraged to attend seminars, trainings related to giftedness to keep them updated to the recent trends and strategies for learners with giftedness. They may also be the advocate school towards identifying and encouraging learners’ giftedness. And for the parents they are expected to support the teachers in developing the potentials of their children and they themselves should also have a positive attitude towards their children.
