This study aims to determine the factors influencing the career choice of science pre-service teachers in a state university, what was the most and least influential of those factors and find out if there was a significant difference on the factors influencing the career choice of science pre-service teachers in a state university when grouped as a whole and according to area of specialization. The study conducted a pre-interview so as to find out the possible factors that may influence the pre-service teachers leading to the development of researcher-made checklist-rating scale survey. The researcher-made checklist- rating scale survey was used as data-gathering instrument and has undergone expert validation and pilot testing to determine its validity and reliability. Mean and standard deviation were used to determine the most and lead influential factor among science pre- service teachers in their career choice. On the other hand, ANOVA (analysis of variance) was used to determine if there was a significant difference on the factors when respondents were grouped according to area of specialization. Generally, what influence most Science Pre- Service teachers in their career choice vary. For instance, Biology and Physical Science majors were mostly influenced by altruistic factor while Physics majors were mostly influenced by personal factor. There was no significant difference on the factors that influence Science pre- service teachers in the choice of their career.
